PTSA Open Positions
For the 2008-2009 School Year:
Traffic Flow Volunteers
– We’d love your
help in the drop-off circle the first week of school! We
need volunteers for morning drop-off just for the first
week. Contact Vija

Parent Workshop Volunteer
–
Work with our School Counselor to select, schedule and
promote 3-4 parent workshops during the school year. Contact
Anne Marie.
Adopt-a-Stop Volunteer
- In exchange for emptying the garbage at the Metro bus stop
in front of the 7-11 at the corner of 6th St. and
NE 68th St., Lakeview receives free bus passes
for teachers to use on field trips. All you need to do is
empty the trash (using bags from the school) every two weeks
and dump it in the school’s bins out back. Contact

e-News Distributor
– Be part of the communication team and distribute the
newsletter and other information via email. The content is
provided, you just need to maintain the list of email
addresses and send out emails on a weekly basis. Contact
Tracey.
School Play
– This is a fun job and a big commitment for a short period
of time (about 6 weeks). Be the liaison between Lakeview and
Studio East and organize the volunteer parents to help
produce an entertaining play. Contact

Science Fair Co-Chair
– Needed to
help recruit volunteers, promote and organize next year’s
event. Contact
